Construcción y validación de una escala de insatisfacción corporal en universitarios peruanos

Antecedentes: la insatisfacción corporal es un problema común en jóvenes universitarios y se asocia con baja autoestima, ansiedad y trastornos alimenticios. Además, los cuestionarios internacionales más utilizados, como el SATAQ-4 y el SATAQ-4R, presentan limitaciones al no incluir el papel de las redes sociales y mostrar dificultades para replicar su estructura factorial en diferentes contextos culturales. Objetivo: construir y validar un cuestionario para evaluar la insatisfacción corporal en estudiantes universitarios peruanos, considerando las demandas actuales y el contexto sociocultural. Método: participaron 400 estudiantes de entre 17 y 30 años. Se elaboró el Cuestionario de Influencias Sociales en la Imagen Corporal (CISIC) con 30 ítems basados en el Modelo Tripartito, el cual fue evaluado por jueces expertos y sometido a AFE y AFC, además de pruebas de consistencia interna. Resultados: los hallazgos demostraron alta fiabilidad y validez, identificándose un modelo bidimensional. Conclusión: Se concluye que el CISIC es un instrumento válido y confiable que permitirá evaluar la insatisfacción corporal en universitarios y favorecer intervenciones preventivas en salud mental.
